Upgrade just your current tool or move up to RAD Studio
If you're a Delphi or C++Builder user, you can upgrade to the XE2 version of your
current tool or move up to RAD Studio. If you're a Borland Developer Studio user,
you can upgrade to RAD Studio XE2 which includes new XE2 versions of Delphi, C++Builder,
Embarcadero Prism for .NET and RadPHP for web and mobile development. You can also
move up an edition so if you have Professional you qualify for upgrade pricing to
either the Professional or Enterprise edition of XE2.
How does the offer work?
Just purchase any of the regular upgrades for Delphi XE2, C++Builder XE2 or RAD
Studio XE2. If you see in the descriptions that the upgrades are only for 2007-XE
users, don't worry. Earlier version users will be allowed to upgrade to the XE2
versions during this special offer window. You must purchase your XE2 upgrade by
31 March 2012 and register it by 15 March 2012.

again and you will have to pay the new user price for XE2 or future versions. Don't

Does this offer apply to all upgrade SKUs?
All regular upgrades for Delphi XE2, C++Builder XE2 and RAD Studio XE2 qualify.
That is, all of the upgrades that are normally available to 2007 and later users.
The "upgrade from Starter" SKUs are not included.
Upgrades on RadPHP are not included and there is no upgrade pricing on Prism. This
is for Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio only.
What is the policy for users who purchased XE2 at full price before the promo started?
If a 2006 or later user purchased an XE2 product at the new user price because they
were no longer eligible for upgrade pricing, we are not extending an upgrade discount
to them. See that promo policy for details.
Can users upgrade to any edition of XE2?
This should follow our regular edition upgrade policy. We're just opening it up
to additional version numbers.

Does this apply to all license types?
Yes, it applies to ESD/Named User, Network Named and Network Concurrent licenses.
There is no Sanctuary upgrade checking on network licenses so no additional work
is required for that license type.
